My oldest surviving recording in this set. A friend who rapped told me it wasn't his style, but he could see why people would like it. I remembered that.
After moving out west I bought a keyboard twice trying to get back into making music. Constant moving and downsizing meant I had to get rid of both. The old files survived anyway.

By then I had spent years composing and recording. In 2010 I took music business and home recording while using FL Studio and learning Pro Tools with an Mbox 2. The Pokémon theme was definitely somewhere in the inspiration.
One otherwise-perfect AI pass said cookie instead of kooky. I had to reroll it. That's AI. 😂
